You probably know how effective flossing is in removing plaque and maintaining your oral health. However, if you have joint problems, braces, or simply do not like flossing, there are alternatives you may consider.

Waterpik flossing uses a focused stream of water to remove plaque and debris from in between your pearly whites. Waterpiks can come with a variety of attachments which can make the experience more enjoyable. Many people find cleaning their teeth with a waterpik very refreshing. And best of all, the ADA has verified that this kind of water flossing is just as effective as using regular dental floss.

Waterpiks are rather easy to use. Once you’ve set up the contraption, you just point the pick between your teeth and turn it on, focusing the stream of water on each crevice between your teeth. It takes only a minute or two to complete the process and takes less physical dexterity than traditional floss.
