Dr. Parker Long completed his undergraduate studies at Texas A&M University, majoring in biology and graduating in 2010. He then attended the University of Texas School of Dentistry, from which he graduated with his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2014. As dentistry is an ever-changing profession, Dr. Long continually takes courses to stay up-to-date with treatment techniques and provide his patients with excellent care. Dr. Long previously practiced in Beaumont, TX, and in September 2018 moved back to College Station to take over for Dr. Thomas Davis, who had practiced in the area for over 40 years.
Dr. Long is a member of several professional dental organizations, including:
- American Dental Association (ADA)
- Academy of General Dentistry (AGD)
- Texas Dental Association (TDA)
- Greater Houston Dental Society (GHDS)
As a dentist, Dr. Long is committed to making his patients feel like they are at home from the moment they walk in the door. During an appointment with him, patients can expect to receive his undivided attention and for the team at the office to provide them with the best possible dental care.
Dr. Long grew up in Maurice, LA, just outside of Lafayette. He moved to Sugar Land, TX, in 2001 and has been in Texas ever since. Dr. Long and his wife, Taylor, have two children, Timothy and Virginia. Outside of the office, Dr. Long enjoys cooking, hunting, yardwork and being outdoors. In the fall he attends every Texas A&M home football game, and enjoys college football in general.
